The rolling hills of Northern Marin are green velvet in the winter months, muted
earth tones in summer.
Novato, the largest and northernmost community in Marin, is the last stop before Sonoma County. The old-west, frontier roots still show, but the town blends its rich history with modern amenities. Novato residents have a fairly long
commute to San Francisco but a relatively short one to Santa Rosa and the wine
country.
